75,000,000 B.C.
75,000,000 B.C. is an ambitious new exhibition that will walk you through ancient southern Arizona and northern Sonora 75 million years ago; Featuring volcanos, and dinosaurs. Learn how shifting tectonic plates created a violent, ever-changing landscape which we see only pieces of today.
From calderas forming, to eruptions that covered the whole southwest in ash, learn how these massive mountains shaped the economy of our state. Discover how dinosaurs once walked the same land we do today and how this ancient world contained not just dinosaurs, but abundant life that scurried at their feet.
Thank you to all of our donors who brought the 75 million BC exhibit to life. Special shout out to Wendy Mack, CORE Construction, Ruth Nesbitt and Councilmember David Luna. Thank you also to our AZMNH Foundation for all their support.
