Dinosaur Hall - Iguanadon
Probactrosaurus
Probactrosaurus is an “iguanodont” dinosaur from
the Late Cretaceous in Inner Mongolia, China.
Probactrosaurus, or a form close to it, gave rise to
the hadrosaurs, “duck-billed” dinosaurs, that
populated much of latest Cretaceous Western North
America and Asia. Probactrosaurus lived about 95
million years ago. At about the same time, other
iguanodonts roamed the Western interior of the
United States, including Arizona.
