Southwest Archaeology Team (SWAT)

The Southwest Archaeology Team (SWAT) is an organization that has had an impact in preserving and protecting Arizona's past for its future. As a member of SWAT, you have an opportunity to investigate the historic and prehistoric past of Arizona. SWAT membership is open to all adults and children with an interest in archaeology. Previous knowledge or experience is not necessary.

Guided by experienced a vocational and professional archaeologists, you can participate in actual archaeological excavations, stabilization, survey, mapping, and artifact analysis. You will learn about archaeology by doing it.

Annual Dues: 
$15.00 (Student and Family memberships available)
